Plans for 2018/19
- To re-brand the organisation to ensure it is fit for the future and linked to the broader work the charity now undertakes
- To develop Upcycle (trading subsidiary) into a profit making entity that can support the charity’s broader aims through gift aid
- To broaden the reach of our excellent advice services to support the wider population in Birmingham
- To ensure the community library becomes a cost neutral service meeting the needs of the local community and other stakeholders
- To establish a community cinema and theatre within our community centre that becomes and income generator longer term
- To strengthen the governance, skills and alignment of initiatives to ensure the organisation is sustainable
- To increase the awareness of the organisation’s work and support other communities to undertake feasibility studies and asset transfer
